Hey there, I’m James...

I’m a grassroots football coach working with an U9s team, a lifelong Huddersfield Town fan, and someone who’s completely fallen in love with coaching.

I’m currently working toward my UEFA C license and learning every single day, from courses, books, podcasts, and (most of all) from being out on the pitch.
 

I’ve recently taken on the role of Player Development Lead at my club, and DIY FC is my space to share what I’m learning - the good, the bad, and everything in between.
